I was raised in East Texas & graduated from University of Texas Health Science Center with a BS in Allied Health. I am a Registered Nurse and maintain my license. I received my JD from the University of Texas in 1991 as a single mother. I am certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.


I stay active in the Family Law Section of the San Antonio Bar Association on various committees. I have spoken at various Family Law Seminars including Advanced Family Law sponsored by the Texas State Bar Association and Family Law on the Front Lines sponsored by University of Texas . I have served as mentor and attorney for the Community Justice Program & a member of the State Bar College and State Bar Foundation.

 Carmen Rojo also serves as a Municipal Judge for the City of San Antonio.
